A little background on how it all started...

Throughout school I was always involved with music, and drama being in different plays & choirs, drama festivals & performances on stage. I loved this side of the industry, and moved on to Study A levels in Theatre, Communication Studies, and Photography. I also gained a City & Guilds qualification in Video Production Techniques.

During college my interest in the industry developed from being on stage to behind the scenes. I decided to expand my skill base & studied a degree at London South Bank University completing a BSc Engineering with Honours in Special Effects Design, graduating with a 2:1. It was a 4 year course, covering many different aspects of sfx; including light, sound, engineering, cgi, electronics and animatronics. This has given me a great understanding of the industry whilst opening my interest for SFX make up & prosthetics, which I specialised in in my final year.

Final year exam piece: Designed, moulded, cast, sculpted and finished full sized torture victim made in wax. Including hair and wounds.

Full crime scene set, including supporting CSI photographs

Torture photos of victim perimortum, displayed on the crime scene walls
